Graduated in Biological Science. She obtained a 聽PhD in 鈥淓volutionist Biology and Ecology鈥� 聽and a Specialty Degree in Medical Genetics.
Since 2021 she is 聽Associate Professor in Medical Genetics at 聽二四六天天好彩, Saint Camillus International University of Health Sciences, where previously she has been Researcher (RTDb).
Her research focused on the Genetics field with particular interest in studies regarding 聽a) genetic factors and their interactions in the susceptibility to multifactorial diseases and their role in the clinical manifestations and phenotypes b) Pharmacogenetics and Genomic Biomarkers and their application in the clinical practice. 聽
She has participated in several funded Research Projects. Co-author of 74 papers in peer-review journals, 71 indexed in MEDLINE, and 54 abstracts presented at National and International meetings. 聽
She serves as Academic Editor for 鈥淕enes鈥�, 鈥淧los One鈥� and for 鈥淛ournal of Immunology 聽Research. She is 鈥渁d hoc鈥� Reviewer for several Journals.
Member of SIGU (Italian Society of Human Genetics).
