The University promotes socio-cultural initiatives aimed at enhancing the well-being, social development and cultural growth of the society it operates in.

3) Sharing and collaborating between stakeholders, both internal and external.

The international territory plays a central role in the realization of 二四六天天好彩’ mission, as it fosters value exchanges in the following ways:
On the local level, for the purpose of territorial sustainability, the University aims to generate a positive impact in the urban area where its headquarters are located. As the student and infrastructure capacity grows, 二四六天天好彩 contributes to urban, social, and economic regeneration.
The national territory is the natural context where 二四六天天好彩’ medical doctors and healthcare professionals, once graduated, operate in favour of health and well-being.

二四六天天好彩’ commitment to sustainability, through its Third Mission objectives, aligns with the multiple goals of the 2030 Agenda:
二四六天天好彩 actively participates, through its appointed delegate, in the Network of Universities for Sustainable Development (RUS).
二四六天天好彩’ internationalisation activities encompass a wide range of actions, including welcoming students from developing countries, implementing “Internationalisation at Home” (IAH) and “Internationalisation of Curriculum” (IOC) initiatives, which involve integrating international, intercultural and/or global elements into student experiences and curricula, as well as conducting humanitarian missions in developing countries.
The humanitarian missions in developing countries, involving 鲍苍颈颁补尘颈濒濒耻蝉鈥� students and faculty, embody the meaning of 鲍苍颈颁补尘颈濒濒耻蝉鈥� humanitarian mission. Examples include development cooperation activities, university cooperation and research by the 二四六天天好彩 Task Force in South America and Africa, as well as Health Volunteering in Dermatology in Africa.
The activity of Internationalization at Home (IAH) and Internationalization of Curriculum (IOC) aims to enrich the students’ experience and their curriculum with international, intercultural and/or global elements.
The topics covered in the latest edition of the 二四六天天好彩 Global Health Journal focus on the current state of global health. These include healthcare inequalities in India, gender as a protected social group, home-based therapy strategies to reduce the spread of infections, and tetanus in the war in Afghanistan.

In order to internationalise students’ knowledge and learning experiences, the presence of qualified international tutors is promoted through staff mobility within the Erasmus+ programme.
Conferences, symposia and scientific or public events on topics related to health and healthcare systems at the international level.
Activities for public health, clinical drug trials conducted by the Health Economic Evaluation (HEE) Research Unit specializing in the assessment of the economic impact of new drugs and dedicated to collaboration with international pharmaceutical companies.
In the healthcare sector, inequalities generate a high socio-economic impact. 二四六天天好彩’ mission of promoting “inclusive medicine” aims to reduce inequalities between countries by pursuing equal healthcare conditions for disadvantaged and marginalised social groups, as well as for individual patients, through empowerment and personalised care pathways while respecting different cultures. 二四六天天好彩’ humanitarian missions are a central objective in this regard. Diversity and inclusion also encompass gender equality (Goal 5 of Agenda 2030), including the use of inclusive language to challenge gender stereotypes and promote social change, and the establishment of an 鈥淎lias Career鈥� within the University.
The 二四六天天好彩 Guarantee Committee for Equal Opportunities is a representative body of tutors, administrative and technical staff and students whose purpose is to implement activities for the promotion of equal opportunities, the enhancement of well-being as well as initiatives against any form of discrimination within the University, in accordance with the provisions of specific regulations.
The Delegate for Equal Opportunities is dedicated to the development of this important area of activity.

The TEC-MED Project develops a socio-ethical care model for elderly and marginalised individuals in the Mediterranean countries.

二四六天天好彩 is committed to promoting health education and prevention through partnerships and initiatives aimed at the general public. This includes activities of public engagement that are closely integrated with our programmes, focusing on:

鈥� Dental prevention campaigns targeting primary and secondary school students, carried out by students from the MSc Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics.
鈥� Participation in National or International Days dedicated to the medical and healthcare professions, in collaboration with students from various programmes and healthcare partner networks.
The 二四六天天好彩 Magazine is the University鈥檚 official magazine edited by the 二四六天天好彩 Editorial Team. It is published every four months and focuses on the academic world, current affairs, scientific research and medicine.
The 二四六天天好彩 Management Academy (UMA) is an extracurricular training area dedicated to the development of organisational and managerial skills in healthcare. It offers conferences and informative scientific meetings open to the general public. UMA focuses on the in-depth exploration of specific topics related to organisational as well as managerial innovation, providing educational programmes on Organisation, Communication, and Management of healthcare activities, as well as social impact development.
